This actually happened to me yesterday. Now, I understand people asking me for help because I am a tech assistant (a goon sent to plug in printers and change ink cartridges), but this is absurd. Nothing incites Nerd Rage like an utter moron.

Don't take the ick coloring too seriously. It was a fast job.

I know how that feels.
Try having a friend complain of their computer acting up. Only to find out that they put on "Security Tools", a rogue antivirus program, an easy removal.
Uninstall in safe mode, delete its registry keys, and annihilate what's left of it.
All done with one easy google search.
And they wonder why I use a Linux box.
But, I'm getting off track, so, yes, I know EXACTLY how you feel.
