Morrigan targets the weakness

Description

Ugh. While not as bright and shiny as Dizene's costume, Morrigan has an awful lot of small, shiny objects for such a grim-dressing girl. Then again, I do have an evil vibrant light source in my costume study (WHAT WAS I THINKING?!) and her hair *is* shiny and black...

This one was not quite so superfast. In total, it was probably more than 6 hours because of the wonky light source. I spent so much time fiddling with color dodge, it was not even amusing.

Morrigan's not so much of an addict to the TheWorld-type game, but she has a lot of fun actually being able to take anger out on something that she's *allowed* to kill. I don't know why she's in this pose. Perhaps she has just dived under an attack, rolled, and now is getting to her feet while readying a batch of magic that's the boss monster's weakness.

That's right. Big glaive, but she's also a magic-user ingame. Not quite as maneuverable as Dizene, but her friend can't quite top Morrigan's loose-cannon firepower. Even Dizene is afraid of her in PvP combat, and she's HIGHER LEVEL...

(IN-WORLD NOTE: While I call this polearm weapon a 'glaive,' it most decidedly is not a glaive by Earth standards. The weapon is actually called a 'Karai Glaive' and resembles a wide-bladed, double-edged Japanese nagamaki more than anything else. This particular specimen happens to have long serrations meant for slaying beasts/flaying hides rather than striking past armor.)

Like the Dizene art, this was also drawn at camp. But I figured out a better way to clean up lineart, so it's not quite as yicky!

All right. Back to the grind...

Morrigan gives her best EVIL SMILE! :XD:

One has to wonder what she'd be like if she wasn't trained to take on her mother's duties to defend their chieftain. How often does that come up, anyway?

Oh, BTW, I'm watching you, so you don't need to send me a note each time.
